What loan deal? I thought he was a free agent when he signed, having been released by hudders? Stay beyond the initial short contract you mean? I would have thought he'd be heading back to the championship, first opportunity but hope he stops with us.
Tie him down to as long a contract as possible. 3 years if he fancies it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
That would be a broken leg first match after signing him then, rest of season art, 6 months ont Richard Kell rehabilitation couch, 6 months to get Demons art of his head and a season where he cant be arsed until last few months cos he wants a new contract.
End of the season would be the best idea, in my opinion. As MrsHalls pointed out, knowing our luck and his track record, we'd sign him up on a three year deal and he'd end up crocked or back on the ale. It's great to know he wants to stay though, and I expect it to be a formality.
The lad deserves great credit for making the effort to sort his problems out. Its easy to bury your head in the sand.
He's one of the nicest footballers I've met. We all have our demons to battle I suppose. If Adam's beating his, then we're lucky to have him displaying his obvious talents at Oakwell. Far too good for L1. He's top end Championship quality.
Well said Mr Whitey. We do have our demons to batlle. You only have to look at poor Roy to know summats not quite right
