    Gerrimsigned!
Brilliant performance. MOM for me, in a team full of decent performances.
Brilliant defensively as well as going forward. Great attitude.
Clapped every corner of the pitch on Saturday, when everyone else had gone; and has run his socks off every game I've seen him play.
Would love to see him signed on in the summer.

    How old is he?

Would have thought the best we could hope is a season long loan. Would be a massive signing for us if someone could pull it off.

    Don't get carried away....

Remember how good Lumsden looked on loan, and then we signed him !!

Doubt he'll make it at Liverpool.

But a good player none the less.

I said the same last night. Absolute quality player at this level but not convinced he's quite good enough for a top 4 premier league side. Lets try everything to get him signed even if only a season long loan.

Stewart Downing plays in the Premiership and for England...........

and he is *****, so Hamill will play in the Prem if not for Liverpool then for another top flight side, I just hope he continues his good play here while we have him.

    He's not ***** at all.

He is for England but one of Boro's best players. El Zhar often gets in Liverpool's squad and he is *****.

Wasn't the same said about Anderson?

    No-one thought we'd sign him.

I think we could get Hammill - maybe a season long loan or maybe a signing.

    Worth trying at least.

Rafa's grooming him to be his "show pony" letting him go and strut his stuff at Championship level building up his confidence with a view to letting him loose on the Prem in the next couple of years imho. He's only 21 so we might stand an outside chance of getting him on loan next year. Depends on who's our manager!!!

Who would sign him in the premiership?

You might say Bolton, or Hull City maybe, but I think that he would prefer the option of regular first team action in the championship. If JCR were to leave, I think that could release the funds to bring him in. Might be a season-long loan, but you can't see him getting a regular slot at Liverpool.

I don't think he's good enough for Liverpool

So maybe they would do a deal. But the lad has made it clear that he very much wants to play for Liverpool and I'm sure he hasn't given up on those ambitions yet, so I don't think he'd come.
