Great to see him celebrating with the fans. Embarassing that we had a mini pitch invasion though. Suppose it gives another reason for local sides to laugh.

True but a pitch invasion for winning on penalties after both legs of ninety mins were a draw in a tinpot trophy is abit OTT. It's great we've won, fantastic club goes to Wembley, wonderful for the budget etc just lets celebrate in the away areas :)

He was saying goodbye. Heard a strong rumour he's signing on loan for Bristol city tomorrow as LJ's first signing

I agree dreamboy. Its high time people realised that football is not somewhere that you go to enjoy yourself. And to have the audacity to jump up and cheer is just outrageous. If your team should get to a cup final the fans should just sit in their seats and politely applaud the success.
And as for that pitch invasion. Well someone could have been killed there. Football banning orders must be issued to those rowdy culprits.

Come on mate where is the harm?

Aside from the potential fine and the chance of a nasty accident as people rush to the front of the stand?

Proof our fans are stupid. Not one of them sprinted to the other end of the pitch to look for Hammill's shirt after he threw it to the ground in celebration :D

Nothing up with celebrating like crazy in the stands. But it's not bright to go on the pitch when we already have a well documented high police bill.

Scryptic I'm old enough to remember pitch invasions at normal league games way back in the 60s. TBH I cant remember any nasty accidents then. Only people letting it all out and enjoying themselves. Authorities these days just want to take all the fun out of the game.

I might have a wee invasion at Wembley myself if all goes to plan. The last time I did it at Wembley I came home with a lump of grass and a bit of goalpost. ;)
