Would have been some finish to the game had hammill curled that shot in at the end. Had their keeper beaten but the defender read it got back and headed it off line.

We sit to the left of goal halfway up the ponty, so we're right behind it.

He does that so well. Roof would have come off had that gone in.

Wednesday were clinging on at that point.

Think I might have passed out had that gone in. He's overdue another goal.

He's a big player for us, and this last half a dozen games have seen him getting progressively more like the player he was last season.

Apart from Newcastle away, we've now got some games where he could be very influential in getting us well over the 60 points mark.

    Hopefully startling tomorrow!

His form seemed to pick up at Fulham away for me. At both ends of the pitch. Frustrating at times, but always capable of a game changing moment. If that effort had gone in on Saturday......

I reckon he'd make a decent striker. Knows where the net is better than the likes of Armstrong and wouldn't have to try and take on players as much being further up the field.

Decent call that. His best end products, shot or cross, usually when he does it quickly or on instinct. Good example on Saturday, cross early on in first half, plenty of time, put it out of play. Few minutes later whipped a beauty in first time.

was having a chat in the pub Saturday, obviously half cut but there was a train of though that he might be ok just behind the main striker. When Davey played him centrally it never quite worked as he more an attacking midfielder in that team but as a striker might just free him up to shoot on sight

Very true. His attitude is the same as it was last season, but it was always going to be harder this year trying to dribble past a much better quality of player. So have one of our guys with a better end product further up the field.

Best Winger we've got he's still my favorite player and needs to be starting week in week out for me.

Yes there's always going to be a bit of drama involved its who he is but he's a winner and wants to play for the shirt.

The main thing people are missing is we don't have a left back who will overlap and take a player away leaving Adam 1 on 1.

Aidy white was very good at this last season and made Adams job a lot easier as he wasnt doubled up as much.

A run of games was always going to see him pick up in form, would like to see him of left maybe williams on the right and

    Bradshaw/Watkins up tops.

Yes, he played very well and was unlucky with the one that hit the crossbar, worked back and helped out in defence and got some decent tackles in. Just getting back to how we know he can play. All players have a a poor spell now and then but I was always confident he'd be back to something like his best.
