    Am inclined to agree, unless he sees an insurmountable problem in agreeing terms he isnt going to want to play and get cup tied, and I cant see Wigan forcing him.
    Only if what he wants and what we are offering are miles apart and he decides to stick with Wigan and new manager can I see him playing.
    If he does play I think that will mean talks on terms have failed and he isnt coming back

    Me too. It may be a simplistic view but he's been here for a few months and this has hardly come out of the blue so you'd have thought we had already discussed with him, even if only in theory. I hope I'm worrying unduly.
