    Tough choice between eating the remainders of last nights Chinese Curry or shove the kids in front of a DVD and try & get some kip.
    Why are the worst hangovers the ones when your other half has to get up early & be out the whole day?! (seestars)

    They can bring out Powerade and other energy drinks. But original Lucozade is still the best.

    Call that a hangover?

    If you can even CONTEMPLATE food or fizzy drinks then it's no more than a 4 out of 10, further proven by the fact you can type. No, to be really up the scale you need to do better than that. I think to warrant a 7 or above it has to be one of those where you begrudge anyone who makes you have to speak. Anything more than 8 must last at least 24 hours and probably involves significant clean-up effort in the following days.

    Why I've got a hangover even watching sport on telly makes me want to throw up, it's the movement!

    I thought that but didn't like to say

    Certainly sounds like an amateur hangover, the kind that can be cured by water and paracetemol. If you still can't keep water down by mid-afternoon then I'd give you a 5, maybe a 6 if you keep trying to throw up more than an hour after you're empty.

    Trust me, this is one of my areas of expertise.

    I don't personally know but

    Chris says slightly flat cola works. (to get rid of some fizz pour in a glass and stir it a few times)

    When I have an upset stomach I drink peppermint or lemon and ginger tea or even warm peppermint cordial.

    I confess

    It's a wimps hangover ... no throwing up & I've just downed the Chinese.... only bad due to lack of sleep amazing what you start thinking about at 3am, and kids taking it in turns to need to get in bed next to me.

    For a hangover like that...

    Sleep and Lucozade will cure it!

    Now if you were still lying in your bed fast asleep at 3am literally unconcious that'd be a hangover :D
