Oh aye. Count me in. Mad Friday doesn't really happen in sleepy Northants villages but I did my best to recreate it single-handledly and I'm paying the price this morning.
Not me..........was home early for about 9ish...........only had 9 pints Feeling fine this morning............which is a big disappointment Got to rethink Mad Friday next year........probably start later in the day........cos its definitely changed Late afternoon session was a disappointment..........too many blokes and not enough women Things are a changing when bars such as Chicago Rock are boarded up..........and the Liberal Club in all its different forms was closed I'm sure I saw Tumble Weed blowing down Wellington Street when I looked out of the window int Chennels Although arrrr Myrtle and her mates thought it were a good afternoon and neet..............so it might have just been me being a miserable foooker
not for me - was DJing to some arseholes in Manchester, who claimed to be QC's & barristers - should have known better but needed the money… DJing right up to christmas, but will be making up for it on boxing day, to celebrate our first home win under Danny
Thought I'd got away with it when I woke up, it's hitting me hard now I must admit. Taking comfort from the fact that I've got 16 more days off work
am bob on, to be honest. big meal, then a few beers in town yesterday aft. back home for a kip and some more snap. out in kelham at night for a few hours. back home, more snap, two pints of h2o and a couple of ibus. just had more water, bacon sarnies and a cuppa feeling chipper....ready to hit Leeds in about half an hour
OK work Christmas lunch yesterday so started drinking at 12:30 carried on all afternoon and then went on to the pub - had to get it to let us in early as it doesnt officially open until 5:30. Carried on most of the evening Id be disappointed if I didnt have a hangover - but annoyingly the co-codamol dont seem to be working - getting too old for all day sessions now
Was in Bramahs around 3ish and was just like a normal day, even got served straight away which is rare cos of all the coffee drinkers
2pm while 1am I did, plus what seemed like an hour in the taxi queue. Got to congratulate the council for putting taxi marshall's on though, would have took a lot longer without them. Seen in previous years around Christmas when the queues are much longer people seem to insist on jumping it.
