I'd say fans overpowering the FA is brilliant, yep.

Google translate doesn't do a particularly good job of explaining it, but isnt it basically 1 set of hooligans buying tickets for another set of hooligans ?

Or was the ban for some other misdemeanor ? and does describing fans as 'ultras' in germany have a different meaning to the'ultras' in other countries ?

Ultras are not hooligans, hooligans are hooligans.

Rostock fans are a bit boisterous(they like their pyro more than most in Germany) and were given a 2 away game ban against Magdeburg and Jena, so the Magdeburg ultras(not hooligans) bought 1,000 tickets for the away fans as a middle finger to the German FA.

Personally, I'd much rather see fans sticking together like this.

Is this the same fans that we're setting fires in the stands last night?

Depends which resports you believe. There were reports claiming it was home and away fans.

But yes, that was in Hansa Rostock's stadium.

A quick Google shows both were at it, which does include Rostock. Probably not the best time to start misbehaving while I'm trying to defend them ffs :D

Another great contribution, your parents must be so proud of you.

If you don't want to act like an adult and join in with the conversation, feel free to just ignore it.

Thanks for that, as i said google translate didn't do a particularly good job. Good of the Madgeburg fans to help out fellow fans aslong as it doesnt lead to Rostock fans doing what they got banned for in the first place.
Could it possibly lead to problems for the football club if they allow 1000 banned fans into their stadium ?

I don't think Magdeburg will get in trouble for it to be honest. After last night though, the ban will probably be extended!

Not too sure what my parents have got to do with anything. I'll feel free to comment on things, whatever I like too. That's what this board is all about isnt it?

Comment on whatever you wish, but if you don't like the subject, what's the point? Just makes you look like a bit of a c*ck.

    Who knows.

Wouldn't you rather hear/read a story about fans sticking together, regardless of the country involved, than a story about idiots trying to fight each other like what occurred at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday?

If I had the choice, i'd actually rather hear a story about my own club. I dont mean any offence really, it just seems that every thread you start is something German related. I've also seen you getting involved in other threads with silly little answers just to wind folk up too. We are probably all guilty of it at some point.

Football is football. There's threads on here about Champions League, adopting chickens, the ITV schedule, etc. That's what the BBS has always been about. Again, if you don't like it, why comment? Just let it pass you by and ignore it if it doesn't interest you. I'm certainly not offended, I'm not going to flounce off like some unnamed posters do at the first hint of someone not agreeing with them.
