Having been accused of clapping too happily pre Williams signing and amidst the pathetic rumours of Johnson and pc and Ben having had major and significant fall outs I'm having a happy clap tonight. Happy clap. Clap happy. Having also been accused of spouting forth club speak with no degree of cynicism I'm feeling the urge to clap some more. Hold on.......may be Williams is saying what he's said on the club web site cos he doesn't believe it. Mebbe he's saying he's joined us on the LJ party bus not because he thought we have a plan but because he thought lee might be lying to him and because he thought that if he signed then lee might walk. The point is ....actions speak louder than words. The clubs actions speak louder than any of the negative rants on this board. The clubs actions speak in tomes.... when we can look back on an early and late summer of signings such as mawson Watkins Pearson Roberts Rothwell wilkinson and now Williams with talk of a possible two more. I'll not change any of the cynical and negative views on here and I don't expect to. However think about what has been going on whilst the moaning has been prevalent. Ben and Patrick and Johnson and Wright and whoever else have been working their nuts off to try and put their plan into effect. If we were more patient and more trusting of this bunch of people who have the clubs interests at heart then may be then we could start moving forward together. They are going about their business quietly and efficiently and shouldn't have to waste their time responding to the negative feeding frenzy which is seen on here. Let them get on with the job and be patient. They will build it and more will come. Take the **** out of my positivity. Slag off the optimism. Moan about me not moaning enough. Actions speak louder than words. Clap happily and let the dream begin again....as it's meant to do at the start of each season. Once we stop dreaming we might as well all go home.
I've just had a little happy clap, felt good. Wife gave me a funny look though Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
Clap some more and advise her that if she were to clap then that might make you feel even happier. Give her a hug as well.
There is every reason to be optimistic for the season ahead. It may all go wrong, but a happy clap is well warranted. Good post!
If you have the clap then welcome aboard sailor. The more clappers the better. If you've got he clap and its infectious then even better. The more fans with the clap the better.
Everyone can take whatever view they want to take of any situation, positive, negative or somewhere in between. The reality is most people aren't on the most extreme end of a positive or negative spectrum. All too often people are painted as such though and we end up in these situations where the negative battles positive. We all want the same, a truthful, consistent, competent club that considers the fans with a manager given time and support to allow us to do the best we possibly can. Anything that doesn't align with that will obviously be questioned, and rightly so and anything good should be praised, and equally rightly so.
