I am trying to get on with a bit of work when a little woolly head pops round the door. Monkey is looking slightly hungover from celebrating last night's victory. Monkey : Erm, I've just realised it is actually R.Tiverton's birthday today and not tomorrow like I'd thought. Me : That's OK, just give him his presents today. Monkey : Erm, I haven't actually got round to buying him any yet. You wouldn't happen to have anything that I could give him do you ? Me : Well actually I do, you are lucky. R.Tiverton has been feeling a bit better since the victory over Derby but still hasn't left his bed. Monkey : Happy first birthday R.Tivvy ! R.Tiverton : Wow, I wonder what it is ? R.Tiverton : Oh thank you Mummy and Daddy, that's just what I have always wanted ! A Barnsley Football Club ruler, oh thank you, thank you ever so much !! Ronni Jamal : Av made yer this out of 'Chron, av laminated it too in case you cry on it. Monkey : Will there be cake later ? R.Tiverton : Right I can get on with my plans now I have all the stationery items I need. And off he dashes to get a piece of paper. R.Tiverton : I am redesigning the West Stand. I shall donate the £3 prize money I got on Saturday to get the redevelopment started. Me : That's a good idea, don't forget plenty of ladies toilets. And as I settle down to work again I hear him mutter - R.Tiverton : I don't forget things, especially the fact that YOU have not remembered to give me a present.
'The R Tiverton Stand' has a ring to it might cost a bit more than 3 quid though - how many more competitions can he win? happy birthday R Tivvy!
