    That’s why I took the test Helen, we were supposed to be going to my wife’s family for dinner, I’ve just got a sore throat and a lack of energy.

    Really sorry to hear the disruption to those who’ve tested positive, but at least you did get tested before heading off. Hope you can enjoy the day still.

    just had a text from my mrs who is with her parents, they have no power due to a power cut, so the turkey is in jeopardy there.

    You just can’t make stuff up at times!

    I’m out of time now though on the stupid 90/180 days rule. Have to go home and can’t return until the end of March. We have a house here but not “Residencia”. The boat people coming over from Morocco have more right to stay than me!

    Yeah….good old Brexit. A total mystery to everyone and a serious blow to retirees (and younger) who bought their Place in the Sun but now find that their opportunities to use it are stupidly, and illogically, restricted. I know the EU commissars hate the English but don’t they want our money? Clearly not…

    Welll not really wanting to get too political but it is because we impose the same rules on them. I know some people thought freedom of movement only worked one way but we voted for this it was the biggest reason for Brexit - to keep the foreigners out - and the fact it meant we were kept out of Europe was either not thought about or they didn’t care
