You're right, but I can 'remember" it well because I videoed everything - the partying outside Tommy Wallocks, the singing in the Tom Treddlehoyle and hugging and kissing with all and sundry in the Miner's Rest. I think the next day was a bit foggy, mind. A great, great day.
I can remember coming out of the house and being able to hear the singing in town, every pub people were just hugging strangers. And recall being in The Ticket Office on Wellington St and them just having a big projector screen behind the bar with the teletext page showing the league table on it.
