    It flipping is.
One thing that sticks in my mind from that night is coming out of the ground after the match and overhearing two blokes complaining. They were upset we'd only won 7-1 and critical of the players (in particular Ashley Ward, Bruce Dyer & Craig Hignett) & manager for having a poor attitude. Over the years I've often wondered whether they posted on various versions of the BBS.:D

I heard similar that night. Saying how we only drew the second half 1-1 and being 6-0 up at half time we should have reached double figures. Took a fair few cans of 7 Up to school the following monday. Surprised how many town fans thought I was being nice and actually needed it explaining once they had finished it (so it wasn't thrown over me). Still for me the best goal we've ever scored.

One of the best goals I've ever seen, certainly the best Barnsley goal. Followed by Paddy McCourt's against Middlesbrough.

Best goal Oakwell as ever seen. For the away team i'd probably go for David Ginola for Spurs :)

Well, I can only comment on what I've seen
I though Paddy's was better than Ginola's.:D But I don't tend to remember opposition goals. If pushed, I'd go for Dennis Bergkamp's in the Premier League.

What a goal, what a game, what a night. Thought we were on the cusp of something special. Remember walking back to my mates house in Stairfoot after and managing to get served in an off licence. Couldn't beat under-age drinking

The only game Hignett and Ward played together for us.

Butterfield's against Bristol City where he Cruyff turned Lee Johnson before smacking it in the top corner past David James was special. Not biased or owt. :D

Best against us? Bergkamp's was special, but Jamie Vincent's volley from 20 yards out in front of the Ponty, from a delicious Robert Prosinecki cross was something else.

We're not used to seeing technical players according to Johnno.

And he sez John O'Sullivan's not had much first team football and may not have got in the team, when explaining the lad's move to Rochdale.
