    Ah for the days aggressive, urgent, attacking football - yes it does seem like 25 years ago...

    I like replaying that goal and laughing at the reaction of certain Huddersfield fans as it hits the net.

    Those were the days when we got excited ,and got up off our seats.
    Long gone are those days.
    Can't see this season getting any better.
    I was one of those who sad said patience is a virtue.
    Unfortunately I'm unable to defend this anymore after Saturday.
    My thoughts with the ones who travelled.

    Some miserable shites on here.

    A once in a lifetime goal. And the only time since we've scored seven happened....checks calendar....3 months ago.

    A golden era watching us that comes around every two decades. Don't even try to compare to today or many other periods because its pointless.

    Also worth saying that Ward/Hignett/Dyer would be a £30m+ strikeforce in the Champ today. So, yer know, context. That team would cost £50/£60m to assemble too.

    You wonder how history might have been different if we'd had a season with those three, De Zeeuw, a fit Watson and the right manager. We might have gone up and stayed up.

    Think he had a 3 or 4 match suspension from his red card at Sunderland the previous week, and left during that break. Season seemed to fall flat after that. Shame we'd already sold Fjortoft because I think he would've done a job after Ward left.
