    Got a nice 20lb turkey and a 15lb turkey to roast, in morning.
    Theres only 9 of us,think the missus has gone turkey crazy.

    Just to explain,
    Thanksgiving day is the day that the Americans give thanks for having plenty. Its the day before Black Friday, the day that they decide actually they haven't got enough after all and rip apart anybody who gets in their way to stop the other person stealing their 'bargain' :D

    I have to admit I agree.

    I'd not heard of black Friday until last year when there was a push by major retailers to induce a feeding frenzy.

    Remember that clip on the news last year battling over the tellys. That was tesco in Batley. I might nip down tomorrow just for the spectacle. :)

    A far better holiday than Christmas IMO.
    We met with some other Anglo-American couples last Saturday for a Thanksgiving party, there were about 20 of us.

    Cheers eaststander, not keen on pumpkin pie, but the apple pie is fantastic

    Just one problem i am back at work in the morning.
    The joys of working at a country club. Which is open today, 500 of the 1000 members all coming for dinner,just happy im not working today.
