Anyone watching it? 'kin brilliant, except you need someone to hold yer hand while it's on. Bit harrowing like. Final scene last night, both me and our lass jump off the sofa shouting, "******* have him! Smack the b'stard." It's the original Fargo film transposed to Yorkshire, with all the grittiness you'd imagine from the new setting. And, as luck would have it, Fargo the series is currently playing on Channel 4, which is also superb. Dunno which is better, but good to see we can compete with the Americans at this type of stuff and produce summat every bit as good. Looking forward to a show next year where Sarah Lancashire teams up with Allison Tolman to investigate corruption in the UK government. They're joined by Maxine Peak and Scott and Bailey and proceed to kick the holy **** out of Cameron, Clegg, Osborne and Gove.
It's been bloody outstanding upto now! Last nights was a beauty. Some top draw actors in it. Anyone who's missed out get it on catchup or whatever. Youll not be disappointed!
I was screaming at the tv, don't go into the cellar without calling for back up! Secure the premises first..... Cracking acting.
Brilliant series, going to have to wait to see the final 2 as we'll be away. Last nights final scene was shocking. That and the officer who got killed. Baffles me why police can go out on patrol by themselves. Fargo is also brilliant.
Yes I am watching it and I agree it is brilliant TV, as is Fargo. Just like Jay I was drawn into the final scene and willing him to get a good kicking.
Top viewing, just like Last Tango in Halifax from same writer. Fargo is the buisness as well. Top Telly.
Completely agree, gripping stuff. Excellent screenplay and casting. Sarah Lancashire is playing a great role.
Watched first 4 episodes last night in my hotel room cracking stuff. Well acted, well written if not a tad depressing.
