Two good wins. Went and watched the u18's and they won 5-1, and the First team won 3-2. Thought we played quite well in the first half. They had a couple of chances, could have scored when ogrady got in down the line and pulled it back to space and not a player. O'Grady very good. Just seen that it went in off him so thats 7 in 12? very good for a striker that works so hard and links play too. Pedersen was good but will get better i think. Wish he had took it and ran at the Goalkeeper rather than trying to curle it in the top corner. Cranie, very good player, would you swap him for their centre backs? nar Fox, looks good in the games i've seen him (Leicester away, reading at oakwell and today) and of the Norwich/ former Norwich midfielders i think barnsley have the better one. Butland, sorry but it's good to have a top goalkeeper in goal that can kick claim save. Really hope we can get him again in January.

Dont think I could have done any worse than Flicker at times, but from what I`ve seen so far of Butland he`s on a par with Steele but has youth on his side. Today made a very good save, some routine saves straight at him, released the ball well when needed. Kicked one straight into touch. stuck to his line for crosses that were well within his capabilities to claim. The negatives Steele would have been crucified for, thankfully at the moment Butland doesn`t receive this criticism but give it time. Hope he shows more with confidence, which is quiet possible, but at the moment he`s on a par with Steele from what I`ve seen. We are in a good position keeper wise.
I'm a Steele fan, think he is a good Championship GK, but Butland's a better keeper now and should go on to be a lot better.
