After yesterday's computer disaster, most of my files seem to be irretrievable. Bit of a nightmare but it's not the end of the world. I'd like to think I have learnt my lesson, so am looking for an external hard drive to back up my stuff on.

    Has anyone got any recommendations?

Main stuff I have on here is word and excel files, not massive amounts of data needed I assume.

    Thanks in advance.

Don't bother, either get a USB stick or use DropBox, SkyDrive or equivalent. Should be plenty of space for your documents and cheaper.
