    Entertaining

but never been a full back. a solid left back should be priority #1.

He had a couple of good games

And he can hit the ball really hard, but for much of the time his defending was ****.

    What a plonker!!

I am just betting that we had tabled a decent 18 month contract for a half decent left back, who we improved massively and who had one, maybe two, impressive games. I am also guessing that the club took a no nonsense stance on the offer. I don't know who his agent is, but he has been no good for Dominink in this case. Where is the offer from Wolves and Ipswich with which the club were being pressed for a better deal? Cheerio, Dominik! Thanks for a couple of good memories and don't forget what this club did for you. Oh - and by the way - I should try getting a new agent. It will be worth thinking about when you are not getting a game in the Turkish Sunday league.

Ipswich and Wolves, eh! I think not! Well done the club for sticking to its principles and not giving in to unreasonable pressure.

A surprise, no. An annoyance, yes.

His defending was improving towards the end of his stay (and by the crikey it needed to!)

He will be most remembered for kicking free kicks really, really hard. However, for me, it will be his stamina from first minute to last which we shall miss the most. He is a useful player for a Championship squad I reckon - not irreplaceable but not without some noteworthy attributes.

Like every other transfer window, I don't care who leaves as long as they are replaced by as good, or better. However, personally, I have my doubts that we'll finish this season with as strong a squad as we started it. We shall see...

Made more annoying by the fact he has shot himself in the foot

or more accurately his agent has. Its bad enough if someone leaves to better themselves eg if he really did have a good offer from another championship side, but this seems to be an agent screwing things up for all.

We will cope without him but as you say a useful player for the championship

RE: did he have the same agent as chris shuker?

....and well done to Gordon for standing firm.

Start caving in to player demands and the whole wage structure within the club is at threat. If Dom shouts loud enough to get 4k a week then it's only a matter of time before someone else wants the same and unrest is created.

Shuker tried to eat humble pie once he knew we had had enough of his mind games but Gordon told him to **** off. Does anyone think Werling may try the same and would Gord's response be the same?
