"Assisted by Steve Cotterill" - the dream team :D

How do these people keep getting jobs in football? With games against Villa, Huddersfield and Brizzle to finish their season there is a very good chance that they will be relegated.

One day - and that day is not far away - one of these faded giants is going to the wall. Once the first one folds a few more could follow. The football league could look very different in ten years time. I would put money on us still being there though.

Folks keep saying this but it won't happen. Owners have deep pockets.

Was thinking the same. Sadly there is no light at the end of the tunnel there's another businessman with a blank cheque for these clubs.

In the circumstances (circumstances they've put themselves in, but still), I think Harry Redknapp is a decent appointment.

The Brum manager should be Gary Rowett, their error was clearly getting rid of a good young manager for a 'name' in Zola, but in this situation with three games to go, they needed someone available now with experience, who else would you get?

Disagree, I think that's them staying up now. He's got a decent managerial record and is a good appointment for a short term boost in performances. He might not even need to pick up a point to keep them up.

He won't have "kept them up" then will he?!

Can't say I agree. Clubs like Orient are living in very precarious times as are the Lancashire triumvirate of Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan. Even Sunderland have slipped into hundreds of millions of debt since the owner turned the money tap off. If he doesn't turn it back on and they dont go back up they could be stuffed. Brighton have just racked up 171 million quids worth of debt 'chasing the dream'. It's not sustainable however rich you are.
