I have a friend who follows them and says they have only lost once in the last eight. They have got back their two key strikers - Boyd and Porter - and are starting to roll again.

Regarding the non-appearance of Devaney and Shuker, I would be imaginative and give Hayes a run down one of the flanks. He did ok there during one game. Maybe rest either Devaney or Shuker.

We need some steel in central midfield and I can't see that coming from anyone other than Kay. Saturday could be another disappointment - it won't be an easy ride for sure.

I would drop both to the bench

Hayes and McParland on wings, Wright and Nardiello up front.
