That we are looking to replace Lee Johnson? I can't remember seeing it in any official statements. If they haven't does that not seem a little strange? Maybe just a bit too obvious for the need for it to actually be said? Or are we sticking with Hecky and Tommy for the foreseeable future? Or have I missed that statement??
here is the Clubs last statement on the matter http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-lee-johnson-2941617.aspx the last two sentences are worth noting. I interpret that as they are in no big rush to appoint a replacement to LJ, and I for one would be happy with the situation as it is till the end of the season. Then take stock of where we are and act accordingly then. The two in charge right now might just prove to be the right men for the job. Also at the end of the season more candidates could well be available too, and if we continue with our present form (even at 50% or more of our present form) it could well attract a better class of manager.

Re: here is the Clubs last statement on the matter I've always wondered why clubs don't have succession plans. I've been a supermarket manager for years and every year I have had to make a succession plan for every senior position (including my own in my last year). Identifying team members who can do at the job at the next level up.
I think we're in a pretty unique position. We're usually in the $hit and promoting from within isn't an option. This time round it makes total sense. Change is the very thing we don't need. Lee Johnson has left us in a pretty decent position. I know most people will probably disagree with that, but hey... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
well this does not happen often matey but we seem to be in total agreement here Indeed it is a unique situation for us. We are in a strong position, we have a Wembley cup final, we have a good squad firing on all four , and we have coaching staff in place who can step in and keep the whole thing rolling.... Unique is an understatement in many ways .
Re: here is the Clubs last statement on the matter I was thinking this the other day. Would be an interesting model for a club to operate under, only bringing in somebody new if you require a complete overhaul.
