I went down to the club yesterday afternoon and saw a Range Rover with the number plate R0880 outside the East Stand. Could it be that R0880 means Robbo? Could it be that Robbo is in fact short for Roberts? Could it be Jason Roberts? You never know...

Bryan Robson buying the club on behalf of foreign investors maybe.

Up front is the last place we need to strengthen unless we are losing one, so I don't think it will be true.

Keef's going for attack attack attack, with the defense being sh*t he's hoping we have three strikers that are in double figures this season.

Losing a striker !!!.....we are, and possibly one of the best players at the club

    ..........Danny Haynes

It would have been good if Keef and Haynes could get along because I'm sure that under the Keeflicker management team they would, in Haynes, have produced a player that every club in the Championship would have been frightened to death of..........in one word........SPEED

Despite being a striker, Danny Haynes was rarely played as one for us. He was always stuck on the wing.

His pace is countered somewhat by his gash technique and lack of dribbling ability.
    Concorde without a wing

Some people on here have very short memories

..........like I've said before........at the end of last season Danny Haynes and Jason shackell were our best two players.

We sold one (for next to nowt).
Unfortunatly the other one got injured soon after the start of the season.

However.........if Keeflicker can TRANSFORM the likes of O'Brien and Butters.........and can SALVAGE the careers of Vaz Te and Davies to the level that they have done................then what could they have done with someone that is already undoultedly our best player??? !!!
I think its tragic whats happened here.

We are losing Haynes. And I can see Dagnall playing behind the striker, so we have basically got Davies and Gray. Vaz Te is part of the midfield.

    Are you Danny Haynes Nudger?
    Best player my arse.
Granted, the lad got a couple of memorable braces. But in 25 games or so, he scored in 4 of them. And those who use the 'out on the wing' excuse, take a look at Vaz Te...
I personally, would like to keep Danny, as he's an option we dont have. But we dont know whats gone off, and if the 7 grand a week theory is true then am with Keith.
As much as I think there is a talent there, he is not, and never was, our best player. Hassell, Steele, Doyle, Shackell, Butterfield were all better last year.. IMO obviously

    like I said.......short memories.........confirmed

At the end of last season Robins was playing Haynes more central and he was frightening teams to death with his pace............
Have people forgot already that there was a lot of speculation about at that time about bids coming in from various clubs for him. We were all hoping that he would stay at Barnsley.
Furthermore there was no speculation about at that time regarding ANY of the other players and one of those players was Shackell.

I can just see it in another 6 months if Butters is not back playing...........posts on here saying things like......'Butters was never one of our best players........Bobby Hassell was the best player at that time'
