    He'd do a better job in midfield than cranie. Better job at left back than dudgeon. Better job in the middle than nyatanga or mvoto l. And dare I say it probably a better job on the bench than wilson.

    Under FIFA rules. I am not agreeing or disagreeing with you here. But the various badges need to be in place. If he has them then they would be very newly won. So do you think that a majority of fans would welcome such a newly qualified man. I am not saying he would be a good or bad manager, but it would be a huge gamble. Look back to when we gave it to "Super John" we totally tarnished a BFC legend with that move.... but I will always look back at his playing days for us, and not the managerial fiasco he was subject to.
