Has anyone heard the Yamaha YSD 1 or YSD 800 home cinema sound systems and if so are they any good?

    I had the YSD800, and it was brilliant. Sold it though and got a smaller Sony. You can't go far wrong with Yamaha kit.

    To be honest I dont think I'm going to bother. I've just been up to Barnsley Hi Fi centre to listen to a Bose system and wasnt too impressed. The subwoofer was bigger than our fridge and I really do have a phobia about wires all over the house. Whilst I was there I bought a cable that will run the sound from Sky and the Dvd through my Cambridge Soundworks stereo (an alternative to the Bose Soundwave). Having wired it up it sounds fantastic so I'll live with that for a while. Probably saved a grand in the process too.
