Has anyone mentioned what a soft penalty they got?

Never a pen in a million years.

Killed off any hope we may have had.

Ref was good apart from that.

    I didn't think it was a pen

And I also thought their guy was offside -unlike a couple of times our players were given off because they were in an offside position when the linesman looked not when the ball was played

Dont think it changed the result though

I didn't think it was either but once he gave it how was it not a straight red?

He didnt even give a yellow

but if that wasnt a clear goalscoring oppertunity I dont know what was

maybe you could argue he didnt have the ball under control and was running across the goal

TBH looked like a Pen to me,or in the old days obstruction, with an indirect free kick...but is that even in the rule book any more!

Because Steele already had the ball in his hands. Their player wouldn't have got the ball anyway, even if he hadn't been non-fouled.

Wiseman ran across him and barged straight into his back with no trailing leg (so seemingly not attempting to tackle him). If that was other way around we'd have wanted a penalty as well.

Didn't look a penalty to us, and also thought their 2nd looked offside

He didn't barge him in the back, he leaned into him

Good defenders do that all the time. Joke of a decision.

Never a pen in a million years. That length of time was needed for us to have a chance to get back into the game anyway.

To be honest they could have had 15 in the 2nd half alone.

    Aye.
And Wiseman fouled McManawoman twice in the same challenge in the box 1st half, and we got lucky there. Although, didnt Perkins get barged over in their box just after that?
Thought the ref was **** tbh

    Just watched it again

And I'm afraid I disagree with you. At the time I thought Wiseman barged their player in the back and I don't see anything on the TV footage to change my mind. Penalty for me.
