......that thinks they will actually avoid the drop?
There are quite a few of my mates round here that support Leeds and they are all resigned to relegation and League 1 football next season.

A couple of them reckon they will pull out of it but the majority reckon league 1 next season.
Some have mentioned that Bates will also walk away from the club!!!!

Loads of them However it is worth pointing out that 95% of Leeds 'fans' don't bother with the trivialities of attending matches, so they would. Of those that watch their team play, I find that most are absolutely shatting themselves at the prospect of the drop, can't work out how they are where they are with the squad they have, and don't knoq where to direct there anger first. Watch the fireworks I reckon, and just hope we're laughing at them come the end of the season.
The ones I know at work see relegation as a realistic possibility. Tuesday's game against Hull was a must win for them, the comments were that if they lost they were as good as down, that is not to say that they think they'll stay up having won, just that they've given themselves a chance.
My mate's pretty much resigned to the fact I don't think they will - there are other teams who are playing far worse than them - QPR and Luton are two of them and i think there will be a surprise team thrown into the mix
The fact we've taken 4 points off them Should make them very concerned. There's hardly a Barnsley fan who thinks we're good enough to do anything other than stay up by the skin of our teeth, so the tag "Worse than Barnsley" should bring it home to them what their fate is likely to be. A serious prospect for them is 1) Relegation 2) Bates walks away, leaving them no option but administration 3) 10 point deduction means they are as good as relegated - ala Rotherham who should be safely mid-table and would need a play-off season to avoid going down League 1 is not the worst of their problems ... it's probably the start
We can dream mate. We can dream,
Don't wish ill on any club, except Leeds. If they went down, and ended up in trouble, I'd love to see all those fans faces who used to pillock me back in wakefield about supporting "little Barnsley". All of my bloomin life.
I will celebrate Leeds going down almost as much as us staying up.

Worst case scenario this season We go down and they don't. I didn't really expect us to stay up, so while I'd love us to, a nice local derby against them in league one is not the worst prospect in the world. I don't want it to happen, I'd rather just leave it to Donny. It will only have been a REALLY bad season if Leeds stay up. A good season is us one place above relegation.
Yes i have... Quite a few and they all think that they avoid relegation and that we will get relegated instead
