    Oooops!

Think it was supposed to be me!

Concensus seems to be meet in a pub and then wander off "rarnd tarn".

At the risk of over simplyfying the arrangements, I suggest we meet up on Saturday 15th downstairs in Brammahs at 7.30, then see what happens.

I will be wearing a green cricket cap for ID purposes.

    Well other alternatives are

Sunday 16th - not a good night as many have work in the morning

    Friday 15th - I can't make that - works do

Another suggestion is to organise a "Not the BBS christmas do" in January - might be easier to get more people with a free date. Possibilities would be 5th Jan after Blackpool match, 12th after Norwich match, or 19th (QPR away).

Let me know what you think.

Jan 12th no good for me - it's the Barnsley Strikers baseball team's end of season (so just 5 months late then) and Christmas night out!

    Only one problem

On 26th I will be careering down a mountain with 2 planks attached to my feet.

But I don't have a problem if you want that date it's actually a good idea for Boxing day - see what everybody thinks and if that's what most people want then fine.

We can always have another "do" next year as I mentioned elswhere.

    Don't you start!

You never moaned when I lived in Germany and only had Barnsley World for info.

I come back here purely for football reasons, then book a measly 7 day trip and get attacked! Women!

By the way hope you enjoyed it Sat despite the weather kept looking for you in north stand but it was empty (apart from the away fans).

It was really freezing cold where we were (the lager I mean) :D

    RE: Don't you start!

No we were in East Upper. My mum had the tickets, I just assumed we were in North cos that's where we usually get shifted to. I'm sure the match really "sold" it to your missus... sure she'll be tearing herself back for more!! (Always the same whenever I take the kids).
Measly 7 day trips should be booked in line with Reds away trips at Plymouth/ Norwich/ Crystal Palace. Even my hubby realises that!

    Don't bring him into it

He knows nowt about football he hasn't seen any for decades.

She enjoyed the experience and actually appeared nervous at the end as we were hanging on a bit. Faint positive signs there. She got a bit bored during the speeches from Spud and Trelford afterwards but soon discovered that there was a bar in the vicinity.

Good to see you're winning the battle with the kids for their allegiance! Keep it up!

Agreeing On A Date For This BBS..........

christmas (sorry holiday for anyone I might offend by calling christmas, christmas) party is proving difficult. 15th, 22nd and 29th are the best dates I reckon.
