could be in line for one of the vacnat jobs going??? It would not surprise me but cannot see it happening as i would expect Leeds especially to go for a big name manager!?! Would be interesting if he did go to see the reaction of some of his critics????
He doesn't have any critics anymore does he? Mentalists the lot of them. I suspect the Baggies will be looking for a more high profile manager. Think Curbs is nailed on for it. As for Leeds...well that worries me.
cant see it. as you say the teams in question will be looking higher profile. Though AR should still be given a new deal the guy has earned it in my book. Couldnt blame him if he ended up leaving
i hope we reward him and RH with the contract they deserve. I think leeds will defo go big name cos of ken bates am not too certain about WBA though???
Every manager has critics, they never go away, but I think you'll find despite some of the comments people make on here (based on the passion they have to support a successful football club) 100% of the fans are behind AR. I'm sure Wigan fans are moaning about Paul Jewell slightly today after there start to the season, and Arsenal fans about Wenger, plus liverpool about Benitez.
they probably are but in the case of Liverpool and Arsenal with good reason, slow start to the season etc Yet i cannot see what AR has done worng???
personally - i can't see either Leeds or WBA going in for him they NEED promotion and will get someone accordingly. Andy Ritchie deserves a new contract however, and he should get one as soon as possible. we don't want to be in a position where a bigger club wants him (thinking along lines of Leicester, Derby, size) and he is in a strong bargaining position. i am surprised that he has not been offered a new contract already - can see the sense in not doing as it is a good motivating factor but I think this is now outweighed by the above.
RE:let me tell you something about AR Ritchie is one of the old fasioned types who strongly believes in loyalty and no matter who comes in he will be loyal to the club he is with. If however he feels that the loyalty is only one way you will see a big change nobody will take AR for a ride believe me............
No chance Not even proven yet, still learning the ropes. Think they'll be looking for a experienced manager after gambling on Blackwell.
