Has anyone with a laptop experienced this before.

its completely doing my head in and im on the verge of destroying it. the only way i can desribe it is that a ghost is keeping its finger on the down arrow. when im in a word doc, it scrolls to the bottom, when on desk top the bottom icon is always highlighted and flashes abit. if i click and highlight the 'my computer'icon which is my top icon on desktop, it just scrolls down to the bottom icon.

i have done a complete system reboot and still no luck. aaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhh
