Saw them in 1984, well I say "saw them" - actually went to see the support band, Bon Jovi just after their debut album was released (this was before Bon Jovi turned into a pop band) - ended up going twice because the brakes on the car failed going to Manchester and by the time we got there we'd missed the support so got tickets for Leeds Cow Shed (errr Queens Hall) the week after. Just checked their website and last time they played a gig in the UK was 1999, and was just 1 date in London. They've done a few US, Australia and Japan tours since though
yeah, av heard that. wunt mind gunna see em just baught there dvd from las vegas i think it is. dident think theyd toured over here for a while. went to see def leppard at sheff last year that was alreyt. thanx for the info anyway.
I went to see them at Manchester too. Not as Good as I thought they would be. Bon Jovi were not bad even then.
hope the tour over here sometime in the future so i can go lol!! wasent born in the dates mentioned unfortunatly
Might be a better bet to keep an eye on their website and incorporate a holiday in the States with a gig
Its a pity Monsters of Rock bit the dust this year,KISS could have been a headliner ,given Gene Simmons recent profile from his TV series could have been a possibility.Aerosmith,Europe,Toto,Scorpions,Thin Lizzy,The Outlaws,Steve Vai,INXS at the Arrow Festival Holland for me this year.......classic rock (nodding2fingers) (nodding2fingers)
Re: has anyone.... nt Eric Bell put the band together and came up with the name.Actually they aren't bad Scott Goram and John Sykes are worth seeing
