I'm sure I saw a puff of smoke in the Ponty Saturday when Dagnall got applauded off and folk were singing Keith's name.

No. He was applauding him too. And rightly so.

He deserved his round of applause as much as he deserves a goal.

Or maybe they've more important things to spend their money on in the aftermath of a recession, rather than paying £28 to watch a load of overpaid players kicking a bag of wind about?

Too much competition nowadays for people's disposable income and leisure time, particularly if you have a family. It really is as simple as that.

People probably have better things to spend 28 quid on than watching us against 2nd from bottom.

Maybe so but I bet loads of them would find the time and money if we were playing Manure or Chelsea.

Of course they would. I'm not paying £36 to watch us v Leeds but I'd pay it if we had to win to stay up or win promotion. Special occasions.

I appreciate your point but being a supporter isn't just beer and skittles, you have to support more regularly to give the club more spending power and give us a better chance of making progress. We're trying to make progress with both hands tied behind our back and the club needs help if we are to keep making steps in the right direction.

I've chalked **** on Bellend Road, again. Can't justify that price.

Instead, I'll be at Oakwell tomorrow evening.

I can't normally make midweek games, but I'm in tarn anyway tomorrow afternoon. Just means a late train back to Bradford after we've won.

Whilst I appreciate all he's doing to piss off the Leeds fans, I'm not giving him £36.

Goes without saying which game you would choose:

    Barnsley v Peterbro @ £20 with a third of the stadium shut or v Man Utd/Chelsea @ £20 with 20,000+

We're going over old ground but fundamentally the club need to attract back the casual supporters/walk up fans. £28 doesn't do that. £25 by calling into Oakwell the day before doesn't do that either.

This is what frustrates the living **** out of me with BFC - we had 3000(ish) extra supporters v Blackpool, they saw a cracking game and a spirited performance from us, we arseholed Brum on national telly and what do we do to ride the crest of new found optimism and goodwill ? Bang price back up to £28 for a none event match, and some half arsed 'promotion' for Tuesday night v Peterborough.

It's things like that which make me wish for a takeover....

5 game package - £100. Quality football, exceeding expectations, unbeaten at home etc.
