Has Davey left the club in better shape than when he took over?

Deffinatley got better players now but Davey has been backed by a championship budget for 3 years.

    When Davey took over

He inherited a squad with some promise but a team in disarray, who were stuck in a losing habit in the Championship relegation zone.
As he leaves I'd say we have a better first 11 when everyone's fit but (miraculously) a thinner squad with weaker cover players.

As for league position, state of disarray and current form I'd say much the same.

So all in all I'm with Dan on the no better no worse option. Given that we have never really threatened anything greater under his tenure I think he'd taken us as far as he could and that distance was nowhere. Should have got rid close season but having failed to do so, have acted swiftly to make amends.
