It's only a guess but I suppose he thought we had more chance of scoring without Harewood on the pitch.
If they'd listened to the interview he gave Andy Giddings I don't think they'd dare to ask. Seriously though he really can't have any faith in Harewood to leave him on the bench and start without a striker. Or maybe he thinks we're Spain.
He said in his interview on barnsley player that he wanted some pace up front. Etuhu played up top in training this week and had looked good. Said along the lines that the passing wasnt good enough to utilise their pace.
Think it was quite obvious he wanted pace up top. He's said all along Etuhu can play centrally. He's wrong, but he's said it.
It's nice to read a thread were people realise that not playing someone who is labeled a striker doesn't mean we played without a striker
Is Etuhu fast? I haven't seen that much of him to be honest but he didn't seem that fast to me. Although, having said that, I'm not sure I've ever seen him bother to sprint, so maybe he is.
He's been a big disappointment Kelvin. And no better than Noble-Lazarus who at least creates whenever he has had a glimpse of action. Those who believe Keith's assumption that Reuben doesn't "want it" should then look at Etuhu and question whether he does, too. Waste of snap, and thus a waste of our promising kid who is being forced out. Just my opinion.
