thought not. Speaks volumes for the "depth of our squad" when we are praying Stephen Foster isnt out for long. Picking a midfield containing Hassell, Dawson and Dagnall against bottom of the league Peterborough at home is not what 'great' managers do. Sticking with the wrong team for an hour when its blatantly obvious its not working is what an arrogant man does. Oh, and if he IS man enough to admit he got it wrong, picking your best keeper is a good place start for Saturday, Keith.
Massive mistake moving Cranie to defence and putting Hassell in his place. Both were poor in equal measure and it upset the pattern of the midfield.
We were stale and slow in the build up on Saturday crying out for the energy of Perkins. And with Foster not playing, madness putting Wiseman up against their target man. No right wing to speak of and Matt Done on the bench, crazy.
Tonight I woukdve tried un change the team as little as possible. Hassell for foster straight swap, although has sell isn't the tallest I think he reads the game well, moving cranie from our midfield really cocked our rhythm up tonight. Only worrying thing is that at 2-0 down we had no other game plan, take nothing away from posh though, they come with plan and it worked. Onwards and upwards, there's worse things happening in world
Apart from the sitter that Harewood missed from 5 yards Perkins at least gets the ball and moves forward with purpose. Done isnt match fit but then Dagnall isnt likely to score so in long run we need him back. Goldbourne needs someone infront of him that can make a run, thats Done's game and he's a better option than Dawson on the right ffs.
Dawson better than Perkins and were either involved in the creation of that sitter chance? No. I just can't see what Done is for.
