We would now be 4 points in front of Norwich instead of 2. From Norwich's point of view, they are the ones that have to make points up to escape the mire not us as it stands now. Will Norwich alter their mindset over the next 2 games and be satisfied with say 3 or 4 points rather than 6. Doubt it, they will gunning - no pun intended - for 6 points anyway as there is now no margin for error, just as I'm sure Barbsley will.

Might a 4 ppint lead have made us complacent ie end up being satisfied with a draw v Wolves, play for it and possibly end up with nothing................wherehas now, we know that we must go all out for a win, nothing less will do (although a point could still be useful if Forest lose).

I personally think it's only a problem if we want it to be and that's what I would now be convincing the players.............., move on boys and aim 100% to win our last 2 games.

    It's made a masive difference

However you dress it up. We were guaranteed to go into the last day with it in our hands, now we aren't.

Nice trying to be positive, and I still am, but that's just clutching at straws.

2 points at this stage is incredibly important.

In my opinion we are down. We just have had no luck this season right from humes awful injury to important decisions goin against us to missing open nets to almost every attack breakin down because of wrong decisions. And a massive factor is the managers tactics at home. Jcrs free role in my opinion has cost us dearly. Cant c anything happening in next 2 games. We will be lucky to get a point on saturday and same again at plymouth. I hope to god im wrong. But i think norwich can stop up.

Those 2 points dropped at Cov might as well be 3 points

Norwich will definately fancy their chances now. I think they'll beat both Reading and Charlton.

Thats why the 2 dropped at Cov makes a massive difference, because we'd only have to win one of our matches to stay up, now we need to win both imho to finish above Norwich, since they're goal difference is far superior. So those 2 points dropped are really like 3 where Norwich is concerned, assuming they win their games as I expect.

So then we're relying on Forest, whose job is a bit more tricky with Blackpool and Saints. We could do with Saints beating Burnley (to keep em in the fight), Forest losing at Blacky and then those two drawing last game. Then we're safe, if we get at leats a point.

**** me I am making myself depressed here.

Plymouth are vulnerable, hammered at home by Donny ...

... last week, tough game away at QPR on Saturday, then a possible decider against us last game

    I'm astounded on here

By how all of a sudden Norwich are nailed on to beat Reading. I hope everyone's stuck their mortgage on it.

Even if we'd beaten Cov, Norwich could have caught and passed Forest with a win - so nowt's changed their with regard to their attitude. However, Reading won for the first time in ages Tuesday, and Coppell says its important for them to finish strongly, the fact that they could still beat Brum next week to go up automatically notwithstanding.

We are 2 points clear, it's in our hands. God willing Davey decides we need to win Saturday rather than not lose and sets a strong 4-4-2 up against Wolves. I don't expect Wolves to turn up and not bother, but i do expect us to have a go. Then to Plymouth who are all over the place and could be sweating on relegation themselves.

    It's all to play for.

I agree, think one win will save us .............

....... to be honest, some of those around us will lose, but we just need to be positive and go for that win with the 4-4-2 that we played on Tuesday, hopefully with Foster back for Souza.

Wolves won't roll over and give us the points, but no matter what anybody says, once you have crossed the finish line, as they have, the edge goes out of your game and lets face it, how many of their players are going to jump into 50/50 balls for 90 mins and risk an injury that may **** up their chances of playing their (one) season in the Prem?

I think it's up to us to set the tempo, get at 'em early, let 'em know how much we want to win, hopefully get an early goal like we did at Coventry and lets then see how commited they are to gaining the one point they need, bearing in mind that they can get that next weekend and probably won't even need to.

Over to you Simon, you got us in this mess, so you get 'em fired up to get us out of it, if you have that capability somewhere in your body - then pack yer bags and bugger off

    We will beat Wolves.

We're desperate to win, and I just can't see why they'd want to get into a scrap with us. Their season is over to all intents and purposes.

I fancy us to come through 2-0. If we do, I think we're safe. Norwich won't win both.

I am uber-pessimistic when it comes to BFC - but on this occasion everything is going to be fine.

Sadly I think a team that is able to relax and play comfortable football against us without having to panic about a result, will tear us apart. 15-0 I reckon.

Davey will bring on Kayode for the last 3 mins to try and change things.

I'd gladly put him over my shoulder ...............

....... and carry him to the railway station, and buy him a one-way ticket as far away from Barnsley as he could get

I think Wolves will be happy with a draw on Sat and a good win on the last day at home. Mind you, a draw could make it a nervous last day at Plymouth for us.
