If he had employed that tactic a bit more at Oakwell he might not be quite as unpopular.

Maybe he's wearing concrete boots while trying to walk on the surface of the Manchester ship canal.

It was a clear ploy on his part. He sent Beech out to do all the interviews, pre match and in the programme notes. I reckon he'd have done the post match one, had they won though. But they didn't, and his ego must be a tad bruised this weekend.

"You've got a slag for a daughter" was another chant from yesterday.

    Great day.

    Telling me for?

I wasn't singing it. I wasn't singing the 'wannkers hat' one either. I was merely highlighting the vitriol aimed at him throughout. I knew folk would go too far. But it's ok, because it's Keith....

I did sing the 'Keith Hill what's the score" one though. And did sing along to the Dawson 'wannker' song.

If you think that's acceptable Whitey it speaks volumes, I wouldn't dream of taking my kids to away games because of the foul language that people find quite acceptable in front of women and children. Shame.

Woah, woah, woah. Whitey never said he approved of the chant but he did say he didn't use it.

Now, can we stop detracting from the purpose of this thread which is for me to have another dig at the berk.

On the chanting front from yesterday I really could t work out why Steven Dawson got so much abuse.....I joined in with the Keith Hill song a few times but the Dawson songs were a bit OTT in my opinion.

As for swearing and abuse at football games it's something that will never stop.....I can use Pitt language at the best of times but a suppose a bit of decorum ship.d be applied when your sat at side of a woman of a kid.....saying that though some of the Barnsley woman and kids no more bad language than me :)

I wouldn't dream of coming on here and not reading posts properly either.

My post regards the abusive chants aimed at Keith was highlighting how "great" it was. As in, some folk are bloody daft and take things too far. I felt embarrassed when the fans around me were chanting about his daughter, and the 'town full of paedos' chant n all.

And when pulling into Bradford, a load of reds fans singing Peter Sutcliffe songs.

    Alcohol.

Stephen Dawson? You mean that useless get who told Barnsley fans to **** off when they pointed out he's a useless get?

Stephen Dawson is a wannker? That one? No issue there. Been chanting variations of that for years. Nathan Blake was my favourite.

I can't agree with this fella. I take my lad to games. I know the environment I'm taking him into. It's my choice. I can't legislate for 1000's of other peoples behaviour/language. We all have different levels of acceptability.

I choose to do it and explain that I don't do it so I don't expect him to, and if I ever did........ In a certain way been in that environment, occasionally I think is OK. Believe me, its only what they hear in the playground. Sad but true.

I wasn't sat with my missus or her daughter. Had I have been, I'd have been watching Huddersfield and I wouldn't be singing anything.

Of course, I'm appalled when I have to read vile posts on here against our manager...
