Has there been any comment from Club about rearranging Palace game & fact we have a free Sat

    There's a cup match and South Yorkshire derby both happening this Saturday. There's no chance South Yorkshire Police will allow it.

    Still would be the possibility of fans from four South Yorkshire clubs all being in the same place (Sheffield station for example) and Hull aren't exactly darlings either.

    I know for FA cup replays the police need 10 days notice

    Don't know if it's the same for league games

    i think theres more to it than both clubs agreeing to play the game saturday and to perfectly honest I wouldnt want to be in sheffield station at 6pm.

    Same as the Palace game would "definately not be called off"

    Palace have Plymouth away on the Tuesday night..

    Then Washday away on the Saturday after our 'free weekend'. Can't imagine our club would accept three away trips on the bounce like that, so you can't expect them to.

    There's every chance

    We will have that kind of fixture pile up towards the end of the season.... and as for Palace, or any team, I'd have thought they'd prefer a Saturday trip to Oakwell, than a Tuesday nighter.

    Anyway, what do I know? Except it's another flippin football free weekend.

    Exactly.
    There are many times all teams are playing in the same locality.
    Just very frustrating to have weekends free and then end up playing Tuesday after Tuesday.

    Just very unfortunate.

    But a lot of teams are going to be in the same boat due to FA Cup and weather.
