yet people on here think hes at spaghetti bolognesi until christmas- any body know anything 'offocial' or do people just keep guessing to provoke a response

He has missed the last 2 Bolognesi games and hasn't been involved in first team action since 25th June. That either suggests he's returning, is crap or both!
Let's hope after a few months back home he'll be ready to make an impression this season. Glimpses of quality last year but hasn't done nearly enough to warrant his place. I would have preferred to have seen him loaned out to a lower division club to get a bit of experience of English football and some goals under his belt.
Can't say that I saw any glimpses of quality. A player of that supposed pedigree might lack pace and/or be weak in the air, but tobe short of both attributesand not seem to havean eye for goal when in the box either, doesn't leave you with an awful lot to offer. The top division in Peru must be akin to League 1 or 2.Loaning him back to Peruwould suggest Davey thought the same, otherwise he would have gone somewhere here to acclimatise.
Agreed, I was disappointed with him in front of goal...never really threatened or looked sharp like quality strikers do. But his touch was good and with balls to feet he looked more confortable. If the Peruvian league is owt like Brazil/Argentina then I'm not surprised he's struggled to get to grips over here. The South Americans just play a completely different style. He won't be used to working the channels and chasing aimless balls to his head. For the money it was clearly a bad buy but I'd hope we can get a bit from him off the bench this season. Better than shipping him home for nowt.
