    Who WERE the other candidates?

    Maybe they had Robins in mind for some time - they certainly acted very quickly once they parted company with SD.

    I imagine they didn't want someone from the managerial merry-go-round.

    .........WHY.....was he the number one target ???


    What was the thinking and discussions behind the decision to make Robins the new manager
    Who was involved in that decision making ???

    It would be interesting to know these things

    Can't say I've seen many clubs giving the fans a full blown statement on why they appointed somebody.
