BARNSLEY defender Bobby Hassell looks set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering three suspected broken ribs in last night's draw at Bournemouth. The versatile full back, who has been in outstanding form this season, lasted just five minutes at Dean Court before leaving the action on a stretcher. Reds boss Andy Ritchie said: "The good thing for us is that Bobby was not kept in hospital overnight. It looks as though he has three broken ribs and he was really struggling to breathe when he came off. We will know more when we have him x-rayed again on Wednesday".
Bad news about Hassell, he has been outstanding this season!! At least with Hecky here now, we have Hecky and Austin at RB and LB with Williams as cover, and then Kay with Reid and Carbon at CB. Just keeping Carbon fit that's all + Reid gets injured now and then. Carbon on 4 bookings as well I think! Hope Hassell will be back soon, or for the run in for automatic (PLEASE!!) or to get fit for the possible play-offs!!
