All good stuff. Good to finally hear in his own words...happy with the deal, delay largely due to coaching courses and concentrating on wife and new baby. Hopefully that shuts one or two people up.

That's great news indeed, I have every confidence in him should he be selected.

If he is happy does it show the mooted 70% slash in wage offer just another load of rubbish?

    I am officially thrilled

Best news I've heard all weekend.
He still has a lot to offer.
I don't expect him to be first choice, but every team needs a player with his versatility. He rarely let's us down. Nice one Bobby.

Mr Murray just admitted knows no details of Bobby's offer.

    Sensationalism to sell papers?.....

Think the point is some silly rumour gets out of hand and can't be controlled. Seen so many people slagging off club for a 70% cut offer. In reality is SEEMS that might not be the case.

    Oh Dear

As a direct result of this I now have to dye my hair ginger and my wife is bracing herself.

    Welcome back Bobby!

    Fair play, decent excuse.

I expect Steele and Cranie's to be poor - "I was always going to sign for Barnsley. The delay was because despite giving my agent 6 weeks, he still couldn't find me better money/opportunities elsewhere"

Brilliant stuff. He's got a few good reasons of why its taken him this long and fair play to him for explaining himself. Be interesting to see Luke Steeles's excuses. I'd also say Cranie but its common knowledge he's had other irons in the fire whereas I get the impression Steele is forcing something that is never going to happen.

So why is it ok for Cranie to string us along until it becomes clear no one else wants a player who has finished no higher than 21st in the last two seasons?

I've got a downer on Steele mate. Cranie is just as bad in theory but by your recent comments, you think of Cranie to what I think of Steele.

I don't think bad of either. I think Cranie could be replaced more easily than Steele but would be happy if both stayed.

I'm slightly concerned at the option of Alnwick but what will be will be!

I'm in agreement with Alnwick not replacing Steele. He's *****. He let us down at the start of the season last year and then came back and summed how ***** he was against Forest at home.

If Steele did leave, we'd need to bring in a new goalkeeper.

When Cranie signed, I new he would be high maintence. Only signed a one year deal, didn't do much at a poor Coventry side, former England under 21 international and a highly thought of defender. I wasn't expecting Cranie to be such a commitment but we never made him as a Campionship player..... We did Steele.

Haha, comedy hour on the BBS.

Ben showed he was good for us when he played. Didn't let a goal in from a conrer with him in the nets.
