Before we jump to conclusions he may simply be injured. Seems an odd decision to not even be in the squad if not

If Hassell is fit he MUST be in squad................if not then it's a ludicrous decision bearing in mind we have Wiseman & McNulty playing awful/nervous and Crainie injured.

If it is true and he's not injured then all I can say is that I'm not surprised. I still can't believe our sacked manager's best mate has been asked to take the team tomorrow. It's mental.

I'm just glad that Flitcroft isn't going to be here much longer.

Based on what exactly - I wouldnt be prepared to bet any money that the board arent considering giving him the job for the rest of the season

I would not be surprised at all if Flitcroft goes with same players and tactics that we have seen under Hill as this will show support for his buddy.

At the end of the day, they both pi55 in the same pot and I would put my last penny on them linking up as a partnership again.

    Flitcroft/Keith Lemon is simply a short-term measure.......

If Hassell is fit and isn't even included in the squad then Flitcroft isn't going to start off on the best foot with the supporters if he is going to the job. But we shouldn't be suprised, it's Keith's best mate and partner in crime - Wiseman and McNulty will no doubt be first on the team sheet!

Of course there is the possibility that Flitcroft wants to force the club to fire him so he doesnt have to walk without compensation - omitting Hassell and playing Wiseman and McNumpty in the centre of defence is a good way to achieve that I'd have thought

If that's the case then it further reinforces the stupidity of the club in appointing Flitcroft in charge of the first team. They coud have kept him on the books for the time being without giving him the power to **** up a 6 pointer at Peterboro.

This is exactly what I thought Keith Hill did versus Blackburn as he didn't want relegation on his CV and also needed the pay out.

Playing Wiseman / McNulty and Done really did the trick !
