Proves for sure - if it needed proving - that David Flitcroft cannot be the permanent manager. Like him or not, experienced reliable pros should at the very least be in the squad in our situation, not put out to pasture because of a personal spat. It's not like he can honestly state he doesn't think Hassell is good enough when he picks the back five he has today. Putting himself before the needs of the club does not a good manager make. Even if we win 5-0 today, I hope flicker fecks off back over the M62 to join his mate very soon. He's apparently just as headstrong and barmy.
Where has it been said that the reason is that Flitcroft doesn't like him? Has it been broadcast somewhere or just hearsay? Thanks.
See the other threads me old cocker. Particularly the Bruce dyer ones. Don't defend the indefensible, the situation with bobby hassell is blatantly obvious.
Agree. I was willing to give Flicker a chance, I thought he deserved it but after today I think he needs to be given his cards as soon as the bus gets back to Oakwell.
