can someone please explain why they voted for him MOM, when throughout the 90 mins he was consistently out of position and found a red shirt less than a dozen times during the game.

 

Because he was a solid defender, won virtually everything

 

He had a solid game yesterday, apart from afew miss placed passes. I'am struggling to understand as to why your making a deal about it. He had one of the better games of a p!ss poor evening.

just felt really really sorry for his team mates having to cover up for him.

He is just a piss poor player as the old boy sat behind me said possibly the worst defender we've ever had.

 

I thought he had a good game

and saved us on many occasions. We won 2-1, be a bit more positive and stop criticising players when they play well.

This one on here is meaningless. Half the people who vote probably didn't go to the game and quite a few just take the piss.

 

simply because he was our best player on the night.

suker was **** for 60% of the game and the second half he played left wing til williams came on

I think Hassle had a half-decent game but Shuker was clearly the Man of the MAtch, covered more ground than anyone on the park, covered the full-back, almost scored and generally caused havoc every time he touched the ball. Was our major outlet all game.

Alright then.

 

Yes, I will happily do that. He was strong in the tackle, he made some fantastic blocks and rescued us at the back on numerous occasions. Also played the ball out of defence very well and took pressure off us on a regular basis.

Everyone I spoke to in the press box after the game were in agreement that Hassell deserved MOTM, and whilst I'm not saying they necessarily have any more idea than anyone on here, it's funny how they were all in agreement if he was crap.
