just watched it a few times and the bit that makes me smile is the sound of the wednesday crowd "yeeahhhh awwwwwww" (wicked) HAHAHA! they must have all thought they'd scored
division 2 player brought to the club looked decent division 1 player, won promotion looked to struggle in the championship,as gone on from strength to strenth, cannot beleive that he was getting abuse off fans for his performances in midfield as a tempory holding midfielder,as played in almost evey position except goalie, watched him at anfield blocking with head knackers anything he could put in the way,as now over the last couple of games even in midfield on the ball as a playmaker as got to be the most improved player barnsley ave ever had on their books and the clearance on tues is like scoring a goal and ultimately won us the match, those ******* that were avin a go at him around town appologise he as proved ur a set of numpties , ok bobby ur dress sense as a lot to be desired white shoes etc but keep it up on the field ur challengin foster for player of season
Cant believe some people were having ago at him because he supposedly "ignores" fans Load of B*ll*cks
Ignores the fans... He certainly doesn't. I don't know about off the field, but he's the first to come over whatever the result - especially if we've lost. At Bristol City he was the only one to come over and spend a reasonable amount of time applauding the support and the fact he gave his West Ham shirt to the crowd in the Cup spoke volumes. Top, top bloke.
Ignores the fans... UTTERLY INCORRECT ZCU's favourite player since the season he joined, who, after our little ship up here was holed below the waterline in 2006, helped with a memento she will cherish forever. A wonderful person to have at the club.
Isn't he the type of player we keep saying we want? Someone who is committed to the cause? Someone who is prepared to play out of position, if the manager feels it is for the good of the team? And someone who doesn't bitch and gripe (in public anyway) when he is not in the side, but tries his best by performing either when he comes on as a sub, or on the training ground?
He's been a good player to have over the years and I hope we keep him for a few more seasons. Doesn't have a lot to say but just gets on with it. Don't knock him for that
Arise Sir Bobby
I was saying that at the game BEFORE the clearance as you say he's the model professional. When he plays regardless of which position, he always gives 100% and comitted to the cause. You know what you get with Sir Bobby. No nonsense football. Plays his game the way he's supposed to play. Never lets the team down. When he doesn't play he never moans. Waits for his chance and when called upon does his job

And then when he made the clearance totally made my mind up!

Arise Sir Bobby!!
