    Looks a bit wild! We're off to Glencoe for half term. Hoping for plenty of snow as the missus and kiddo are hoping to get some skiing done. I'll be quite happy sitting in the café sipping whisky!

    Minus 5 today with a lot of windchill and the ageing Patterdale terrier decides that as a hunter she's still got it, tempted out of hunting retirement by caribou (reindeer are they one and the same?). We are in the Cairngorms for a week.
    1.45 hours later after I’ve decided that’s it, dead dog may as well abandon ship and think how to break it to my lad, she reappeared. No blood on the chops so I suspect she was unsuccessful. Fook me I was cold.
