asked, and indeed, answered the question of whether or not we posess the physical & psychological attributes that a side seriously chasing promotion requires?? We have done reasonably well so far, but we are fast approaching the stage of the season where we need to kick on & leave so-called lesser teams in our wake. We all know that there is genuine talent in the side, but this god-dammned league requires far more than talent to escape. it could be worse though, we could be only up for the big games like our Pikey friends.
Its amazing how many of the Donny team are NOT powerfully built yet they managed to outfight us today and also Villa before taking both Man City and arsenal to extra time and penalties. Im taking today as a one off. Only last week we came through a tough game with Bristol City and won and im expecting us to start on another run on Tuesday against Port Vale.
it's mind boggling that our defence coped coped with a much better player last week against Bristol than we did with Fortune-West today. that big guy up front for Bristol was a far better footballer than Big Leo yet we struggled today.
