We have an inexperienced but ambitious young manager, some talented young players and an owner who is genuinely passionate about the club. A difficult period was inevitable but the players and coach will have learned a great deal in the past few weeks. A couple of experienced signing, key players back from injury and the support from a loyal fan base and we will be in good shape. A mid-table finish will see us in a great position to go for promotion next season. The team will be vastly more experienced by then. We really have faith in the powers that be and cut back on the negativity, however understandable.
I see the usual suspects got in first. Nobody knows if it's more terminal than a bad run of results. I think there's been an overreaction by a lot of people but having concern is understandable. I'm also under the impression that this is just a bad patch and it will pick up. But it needs to pick up now. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Who let those two out of the asylum? I thought one of em was going to depart whilst Johnson was the Manager.
Good post. We are missing two players who have been influential this season, Hourihane and Watkins. When they return I believe we shall ascend the table. Anyone who thought we would get promoted this season must have been a supreme optimist.
It's been a difficult period almost since he arrived; what makes you think he can turn us into anything better than an average third division side?
You are Patrick Cryne, and I claim my £5. But good post and against all the seemingly knee jerk reactions that are so rife in the modern game.
