Absolutely no issues with the system for season ticket holders. Completely sensible and fair to me. But no recognition for any non-season ticket holder who's been to any Cup game, or any games at all this season, over Mr Joe Public? Basically if you're not a ST Holder, 1887 Member or Centenary Society member, you're all treated the same. That seems to me to be a really odd way to win back lapsed fans, if I've read it correctly, or is the assumption that anyone who attended games this season joined the 1887 scheme? So, if I understand this correctly, Mr Pay On The Day who paid cash at the turnstiles for 5 league games, and went to Burnley, Hull and MK Dons will have lower priority for tickets than Mr Bandwagon who doesn't actually support BFC but can now sign up for the 1887 Club and get ahead of the General sale? So, based on things I've read on here previously, if my assumptions are correct then Bluebird will be ahead of, say, ryhilltyke in the pecking order if he joins the 1887 scheme tomorrow. Maybe a good idea to get a few extra memberships bought, but surely it's risking alienating lapsed supporters far more? Or maybe I've just mis-read it, in which case feel free to gang up on me and point this out ad nauseam.
it seems to be the case...certainly those who've been to the cup games ought to have been considered when the tickets, if any go on general sale, having the stubs should give you some priority over those who haven't been....at least it's not the **** up that Anfield was though.
To be fair, it's easily fixed by adding something in to this effect ahead of general sale, which I hope they do.
